HINDRANCES TO EFFECTIVE ACCESS TO THE WORD OF GOD:
- An unclear conscience and unrighteousness (Jam. 1:21)
- Arrogance and pride (Ps. 25:9)
Arrogance is the foundation for ignorance
When you are not teachable, you are not reachable, either by man or God - Worldliness and worldly cares (Matt. 13:22; 6:33)
When you are too focused on worldly things, it becomes impossible to receive anything from the word
When your passion and pursuit is God He will cause all the things that others seek after to seek after you (Matt. 6:33) - Joylessness and praiselessness (Isa. 12:3; 2 Kings 3:15)
Joy is a ventilator of both the spirit and the mind of man
