SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S): Spiritual Stocktaking
WHAT SPIRITUAL STOCKTAKING ENTAILS:
i. Looking back at the year and rehearsing or recounting the acts of God in our lives (Judg. 5:11)
ii. Looking back and identifying progress made in any direction, no matter how little (Ps. 3:5)
iii. Help, grace and mercy experienced in the course of the year (Ps. 136:1-End)
Spiritual stocktaking focuses on what God has done, not what He is yet to do; focus on what is working, not what is not yet working
Don’t focus on what is lost, focus on what is left
THE OUTCOME OF GOOD STOCKTAKING:
- Positioning for progress
- The replenishment of supplies
- The avoidance of embarrassing surprises
WHAT HELP ARE WE ACKNOWLEDGING GOD FOR?
- Help against enemy conspiracy, gang-up and threat (1Sam. 7:7-12)
- Divine intervention and celestial participation in battle (1Sam. 7:7-12)
- Victory over the enemy – woeful and complete defeat of the adversary (1Sam. 7:7-12; Judg. 5:20)
- The frustration of the expectations of the enemy (1Chron. 15:26; Acts 12:11; Acts 28:3-5)
- Divine assistance in Kingdom assignment (1Chron. 15:26; Rom. 9:16)
- Success for the journey
The journey of January 2021 to December 2021; the journey of marriage, the journey to your village and back
God will never allow what will collapse you or conquer you to confront you - Divine assistance for persistence (Acts 26:22; Phil. 2:13; 1Cor. 4:7)
- Divine help for the sustenance of life
Divine help, longevity, supernatural supply
CONCLUSION:
- Spiritual stocktaking guarantees a successful conclusion of the current year and a successful
acceleration into the coming year
Spiritual stocktaking helps to close the current year well; until the previous year is closed well, the new year cannot open well - When you appreciate God for what He has already done you are reminding Him of what He is yet to do (Luke 17:14-19)
By reminding Him of what He is yet to do, you move Him to do that which He is yet to do.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
- You will not die before your time!
- That negative news they are waiting to hear from your life, it will not happen!
- Every negative decree and intention hanging over your life is cancelled!
- The expectation of the enemy will not come to pass!
- A death sentence that the enemy planned to happen this year has just been cancelled!
- That battle that followed you throughout this year has just been arrested!
- That long awaited breakthrough is happening right now!
- A contention has just ended!
- I hear the sound of victory!
- Every remaining release of 2021 enters your hands now!
- Systems shall lose their sleep, peace and rest until all that is yours enters into your hands!
- The blessings of 2021 shall not cross over into 2022!
- Every stranger in your life is leaving now!
- Every death arrow fired into your body, the arrows are retrieved and refired back to hell!
- You shall not lose your children!
- New season, grace, help, doors, a new dawn, fresh help and mercy are released upon you!
- 2021 is not permitted to end until everything you are trusting God for is released!
