THE POOR MAN’S WISDOM – Korede & Esther Komaiya

MILLIONAIRE EMBRACE: Saturday, November 27, 2021 | Korede & Esther Komaiya

“Then said I: ‘Wisdom is better than strength. Nevertheless, the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.” Ecclesiastes 9:16 [KJV]

If you think it is bad to be wealthy, poverty is nothing. Poverty is never to be desired and not a fulfilling friend to relate with. God never wills for anyone to be poor. Poverty is a system created by men for continuous dominance over other men; it is the consequence of certain decisions made over a period of time; it has nothing to do with how much or less you have in your pocket, but everything to do with how much or less you have in your mind. Poverty is a state of mind that affect every other “state” in your life.

As seen in today’s scripture, wisdom is better than strength; you can have your military arsenal filled with weapons, your financial arsenal filled with currencies, your intellectual arsenal filled with talents, when you lack the wisdom for their application, you lost their values; wisdom will forever be better than strength, nevertheless, a poor man’s wisdom is despised. The disqualification for the poor man’s wisdom is his poverty, he has wisdom but could not translate it to economic relevance. Never joke with poverty, it downgrades one’s true personality, disfigures one’s identity and paralyze one’s capacity to act right.

PRAYER
Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I thank You for today’s devotional; I receive grace to operate the dimension of wisdom that can never be despised, in Jesus’ Name!

KEEP IN MIND
Poverty is a system created by men for continuous dominance over other men.
