BREAKTHROUGH BY PERSISTENCE – Apostle Joshua Talena

(James 5:17-18) Elias was a man subject to like passion as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Breakthrough is an advancement or encroachment past enemy lines. Breakthrough connotes major progress, such as a great innovation or discovery that overcomes a significant obstacle. Breakthrough characterizes major progress or overcoming some obstacles. Afflictions, limitations, satanic confinement are like cages. They hold their victims down. Just like a bird cannot fly freely to enjoy the fullness of its potential when it is caged, in the same way, people who are limited or bound by human or spiritual forces cannot live life to the maximum. If you do not insist, you will remain bound. But that is not your portion in Jesus name. The system of the world is wired to fail. If you do not breakthrough, you will continually suffer the same things you have being going through. In fact, without breakthrough, your life will continue to go round and round in circles.

When you breakthrough, you will turn your life around from being a cause of explanations to being a cause of positive exclamation. Your breakthrough is the occasion that will silence the voice of your mockers and those who laugh at you. No one can pray for you as much as you can pray for yourself. The only option you have is the option of prayer. Pray until you experience the change and intervention you desire.

Child of God, determine to persevere until you experience change. Never expect the devil to give you easy passage. When you pray, pray with an attitude that does not accept defeat. If you do not persist your problems will not go away. Insist. Keep hitting at the wall of your limitations until it come tumbling down.

Meditation: If you do not insist, nothing will happen; you will remain bound.

RM: Account of Prayer

Prayer: As I persist in the place of prayer, I decree that my life shall carry result and evidence. I will not give up or accept defeat. I will prevail in Jesus name. Amen.
