(2 Chronicles 20:22) And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments

Against the children of Ammon, moah, and mount seir, which were come against Judah: and they were smitten?

Who would have thought that by mere singing, a mighty wall will crumble? The instrumentality of praise is a weapon that stirs up and wrought miracles. The Israelite praised God and he stepped into the scene and the mighty wall of Jericho was brought down. God is delighted when we praise him and it is an express means to seek his intervention because he dwells in praise. From the above text, God set ambushment against the enemies of Israel when Israel began to praise him. Have you ever imagined what would have happened if they did not praise him? God created us to praise him because praise is that which God cannot give to himself. We are to praise him in songs, dance, clapping, using musical instruments etc.

David speaking in Psalms 69:30-31 said, I will praise the lord at all times. Most of the times, David sang praises to the lord were times he went through very difficult times and situations. Hear me, God granted him victory at all times and he won the heartbeat of God through the instrumentality of praise. Time will fail me to talk about Paul and Silas who opened the prison gates through praise.

My beloved, what is it that you are looking for? Are you passing through difficult times? Are things not working according to your expectation? Are you fighting battles of life? For we know that the weapon of our warfare are not carnal. Why not change the gear to praise and see if he is not the same God in the times of Joshua, David, Paul and Silas. One thing remains true, God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He can never ever change. Get up from the ugly situation and not be discouraged. Engage praise and I see him doing for you what no man can do for you.

Meditation: you can win the heartbeat of God through the instrumentality of praise.

RM: the power of praise

Prayer: oh lord I praise you with all of my heart, because you are my victory, let the high praises come to you as a sweet smelling savor in Jesus name amen.
