Forty years You sustained them in the wilderness; They lacked nothing; Their clothes did not wear out And their feet did not swell.
Today’s Word –
There are many people today who complain and murmur against God, lamenting that God has not fulfilled His promises in certain areas of their life, but yet forgetting the things that God has done for them from the beginning of their existence on the earth. This inability to recollect the wonderful things that have been done by God for them in the past, breeds the culture of ingratitude, and blurs the vision of an individual to discern what God is about to do in the future.
The children of Israel grumbled against God at several occasions, because they forgot the great deliverances and the provisions that God made available for them while on their way to the promise land (Numbers 14:2, Exodus 16:2-15, Exodus 17:2-3).
There is a song 🎵 which says;
Count your blessings, and name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord has done.
God has done so much for us, but if we fail to take stock of what He has done, we will be left with the illusion that He is unfaithful.
1. Take a stock of all that God has done in your life.
2. Give thanks to God for His great provisions, and His faithfulness.
3. Take a stand to count your blessings in every given situation.
“God has done so much for us, but if we fail to take stock of what He has done, we will be left with the illusion that He is unfaithful”.
God bless you.
