UNDERSTANDING MISSIONS – Mfon Udoema

The following are the components of missions:

PREACH CHRIST: Use every available means to tell the world about Christ and to win souls for Him. Preach Christ through the following; crusades, outreaches, house to house and personal evangelism, etc

  • PROVIDE CARE: Provide care(free or afordable) to the weak, sick, downtrodden, less priviledged and vulnerable of society. Provide schools, hospitals, health care centres, orphanages etc. I attended a Roman Catholic Nursery/Primary School, which was reputed to be one of the best in the city at that time.

  • PLANT CHURCH: Any missionary endeavour that does not culminate in church planting is a sheer waste of time and money. Churches must be planted to cater for the spiritual needs of the people.
