Today’s Word [5/06/2021]: Be careful to observe the word of God

Bible Text:

Deuteronomy 5:32

“Therefore you shall be careful to do as the Lord your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

Today’s Word:

The word of God is essential for the workability of everything on the earth and in Heaven. The heaven’s and the earth, and everything in it, came into existence and is sustained by the word of God.

God specifically instructed the people of  Israel to be diligent in performing all that was commanded by Him, because therein lies the secret and fulfillment of His promise.

Deuteronomy 5:33

You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.

Likewise, for us to become benefactors of God’s promises, we must be careful to observe and perform all that God has spoken to us. Our life becomes efficient when it is in alignment with God’s Word.

What must we do then?

1. Submit yourself to God’s Authority (1 Peter 2:13, James 4:7).

2. Establish an unbroken relationship with God (James 4:8, John 14:23).

3. Be in contact with His word (Mathew 4:4, 2 Timothy 3:16-17).

4. Be passionate in performing God’s Word (1 Samuel 12:23, Genesis 39:9).

5. Be diligent in your service to God (Collosians 3:23-24, 1 Corinthians 15:58).

However, as you step out today to perform your legitimate duties, be careful to perform the word of the Lord in all you do.

God bless you, and do have a great day in the presence of the Lord.
