#BookChallenge: Praying Successfully – Charles Spurgeon [ Lesson 3]

1. A house without prayer is a house without a roof.

2. Negligence of the house of God is often an indication of negligence of one’s own house. If a person does not bring his children to church services, then he is not bringing them to Christ.

3. He who prays without fervency does not pray at all. We cannot commune with God, who is a consuming fire, if there is no fire in our prayers.

4. Many prayers fail to achieve their purpose because there is no faith behind them. Prayers that are filled with doubt are requests for refusal.

5. You cannot get the heavenly anointing without prayer. The gift of God is not purchased with money.

6. Prayer is the great door of spiritual blessing, and if you close it, you shut out His favour.
