ASSOCIATION AFFECTS FIRE – Apostle Joshua Talena

(Amos 4:11) I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a fire brand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord.

Association affects fire. You have to be careful to your association. Association is having a connection to or an affiliation with something. A group of persons associate for a common purpose. The person or people you associate with determine your acceleration in life. Association affects assimilation. If your friend is water brand you can’t be fire brand. It doesn’t matter how compassionate a chick is, it can’t walk with a dog or help a dog.

You must associate with fire brand people to contact the fire. When you live and walk in a fire environment, you become a fire brand as a result of impartation by fire. Words have the capacity to transmit fire. God asked a question, is not My word like fire? (Jeremiah 23:29). When you consistently expose yourself to the word of God in church and in your closet as you study, you contact the fire it carries.

Whenever things seem to not work, don’t blame the environment. Rather train and frame the environment. To do so your environment (inner environment) needs to be stirred and injected with fire which often times can be made possible by contact and association with others who are firerized. Wherever you are, people should feel your heart for God. When you talk, let it not be with words that do not carry any weight. Let the fire in your heart rub on the words that proceeds from your mouth.

Never you be in the company of those who are not excited with life; their mood will affect yours and the fire you have per time. When you do what you love and you love what you do, your life gains energy.

Meditation: If your friend is water brand you can’t be fire brand.
