THE BLESSING AND ABUNDANCE OF GOD – Dr. Paul Enenche

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): PSALM 35:27-28; 37:25-26; PROVERBS 10:22

SERVICE OBJECTIVES:
1. Unravelling the extent to which God can bless people

2. Understanding certain criteria for the blessing

It pays heavily to serve the Lord; it pays heavily to live for the Lord
We serve the God of immeasurable wealth and unspeakable abundance

SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE WHO EXPERIENCED THE WEALTH OF GOD:
1. Abraham (Gen. 13:1-2, 5; 24:1, 35)

2. Isaac (Gen. 26:12-14)

3. Jacob (Gen. 30:43; 43:11-12)
We are a covenant generation of people and our destiny is not shortage but abundance of resources

4. Joseph (Gen. 41:39-44)
As the Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph generation, we are commanders of national wealth and generational abundance
In the journey of faith we see the outcome from the onset
In the physical we see to believe but in faith we believe to see (Ps. 27:13)
We need to persecute the devil with resources, send him back to hell and rescue the lost from hell back to heaven
God is looking for people around the world that will make their facilities and resources available for the use of the Kingdom in this end time

5. Job (Job 1:1-3; 22:21-25; 29:1-16)

6. David (1Chron. 29:2-5, 26-28)
God is no Respecter of persons, He is a Respecter of principles (Acts 10:34-35)

7. Solomon (1Kings 10:23-24; 14-15)
King Solomon is the symbol of wealth
Solomon got to the point where he didn’t go for gold, gold came after him

8. Hezekiah (2Chron. 32:27-29)
There is God-given substance

9. King Uzziah (2Chron. 26:5-10)

10. Joseph of Arimathaea (Matt. 27:57-58; Isa. 53:9)

QUESTIONS TO ASK TO DETERMINE ACCESS TO THE RESOURCES OF GOD:
1. Will it glorify God or it will glorify self? (Prov. 3:9-10)
When people look at your results and resources will it make them honour God or worship you?

2. Will it serve you or you will serve it? (Matt. 6:24)
Those who serve money lie, cheat and defraud for money

3. Will it deliver you from distractions or become your distraction? (Joel 2:26)
If it will deliver you from distraction it will flow, but if it will become your distraction…

4. Will it increase your spirituality or amplify your carnality?

5. Will it deepen your consciousness of Heaven or deaden your consciousness of Heaven?

6. Will it amplify your humility or magnify your haughtiness? (Jam. 4:6)
When God sees how you will behave tomorrow, He knows how to handle you today

7. Will it give motion to the Gospel? (Zech. 1:17)

8. Will it bless the poor? (Job 29:15; 1Tim. 6:17-19)
A greatest secret to curing covetousness is liberality because covetousness can take a man to hell; the love of money can be cut by the action of distribution.
