#BookChallenge: Why you are at this point – Tunde Korede [Final Lessons]

Today, we conclude the final lessons from the book, why you are at this point, by pastor Tunde Korede. It has been an interesting read, and I encourage you to get a copy of the book.

1. There is no faith without works. If you have faith, the Lord will command you to take certain steps in life. It is your faith in Him that will enable you to take those steps. Though those steps might appear stupid or inconceivable to you at first, you will rejoice
in the long run, like Abraham, if you obey. Men of faith are men of action.

2. Many of us run away from challenges. We tend to avoid them at all cost. Whereas, the money we are all seeking earnestly is embedded in the problems we solve. In fact, money is embedded in the needs we meet. The more you meet people’s needs, with excellence as your hallmark, the wealthier you will become.

3. Assets are the things that put more money into your pocket, while liabilities take money out of your pocket. If a car will not increase your income, you don’t need to buy it. It is absolutely vital to note that you don’t need to acquire luxury if you are not rich yet.

4. Start saving today. Who knows, someone might resolve to sell something that you need
to buy. What if you don’t have money at that time? You may miss out on that
opportunity. But if you have savings, you will be able to leverage that opportunity. That’s why it is always important for people to save because nobody knows what tomorrow holds. It is reckless for one to consume all that he or she has.
