Don’t let the night catch up with you – Pastor Shade Olukoya

It’s high time you shook yourself out of sleeping to take your rightful position!

1 Peter 2:9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth (publish, declare, display, teach, reveal) the praises (greatness, magnificence, excellencies, knowledge, wisdom, and power) of Him (the creator and the deliverer), who hath called (selected, chosen, separated, delivered, rescued, guided) you out of darkness into his marvelous light;”
By God’s grace we are a holy people of God ‘set apart’, not for our sake, but for the ‘kingdom business’ —to act as God’s exponents to the world. We are to sweeten, season, enlighten and educate the world with our God-given resources as revealed in 2 cor. 9:8, “I have all sufficiency of all things and abound to all good works, for my God has made all grace abound toward me.”
The testimonies of our works and deeds, in many ways, proclaim the Excellency of our God. This, beloved, is the very essence of our existence and the peculiarities of our citizenship as believers.
More seriously than ever before, it is time now to rise, take your place in God and fulfill your roles in raising and impacting lives for God’s kingdom!

As a prayer warrior, intercessor, or Bible teacher, maybe you are even talented in some ways, do not hesitate; develop the passion to help. get on the tasks!
Don’t let the night catch up with you. Rise, ye sons, and daughters of zion from your slumber and take your place!
