STAND OUT ALWAYS – Apostle Joshua Talena

(John 8:12) Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world, he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life

Beloved, in life, nothing changes without action and action requires you to know your role in your chosen career and play the role effectively and efficiently. If you do not know your role you would not appreciate your strength and improve on your weakness. The assignment is the reason you were hired, in the first place. And at the end, you will be assessed based on how well or how poorly you handled your assignment.

Always do the best at your disposal and be the best. It is your performance in that assignment that distinguishes and stands you out. In your chosen field or assignment, always put in your best. Even in captivity in a strange land, Daniel was distinguished. He executed any assignment he was given with competence, dexterity and ingenuity. No wonder he spent 75 years spanning 4 kings in the seat of power in Babylon. Joseph is another person that stood out. Joseph, right from his father’s house, was proactive, excellent and honest in all his doing and dealings. He rose to the throne of leadership in Egypt by the decision to stand out always.

Having the Holy Spirit is supposed to make a believer stand out in his or her duties. It is regrettable that believers who claim to be having the God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is executing assignment in mediocrity, failing in every assignment given them. If you give them any department or unit, the department or unit dies in their hand. They claim to be having the Holy Spirit who is proactive, yet they are not proactive. How can you have God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and be executing assignment in mediocrity? Pooor attitude has kept many in the shackles of lack, penury and glory deficient.

Some are waiting to show their dexterity and ingenuity in big assignment. Child of God, no matter how insignificant your assignment may look, do them as if they were great things because you are being assessed by both human and divine agents. The size of the task is irrelevant, what matters is does it need to be done? God created us for excellence and being born again, tongue speaking and communion has given us added advantage. You are the salt of the earth, the light of the world and a city on a hill, even as you travel and prepare for the end of year event, stand out.

Meditation: How can you have God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and be executing assignment in mediocrity?

RM: Another Kind of Them

Prayer: My Father, my Lord, help me to stand out in Jesus name, Amen.
