Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

The understanding and misconception of Mathew 6:33, has produced three sets of belivers who are currently seating at their various positions in the body of Christ, and would all receive their rewards accordingly.

The first set of believers, are those who prentiously seek the Kingdom of God, like thieves looking for what to steal. Their only intention for seeking the Kingdom of God, is because of the treasures that lay therein. These believers, like fraudsters, attempt to get hold of the treasures of God, by trying to outsmart the Owner of the Kingdom. Hmn!!! A great folly indeed. The Bible tells us in the book of Galatians 6:7; “Don’t be fooled. You can’t outsmart God. A man gathers a crop from what he plants” (NIRV). These set of believers, have camoflagged themselves with religious cloaks, and have blended with the sheep, but God is not moved by sight, for He judges the intentions of the heart. (WRONG CATEGORY)

The second set of believers are those who insist that the additions from the Kingdom be given to them before the act of seeking. The additions from the Kingdom are seen by these belivers, as motivators. They say to the Lord, “if we have this, we will serve, but if we don’t, we can’t serve”. Have you ever invited a minister to your church, and he or she is more concerned about how much you are willing to pay? Or a church worker who refuses to be committed, because his/her denominational arm of the church is not giving him/her enough from its treasuries? The Holy Bible tells us again, that God cannot be mocked (Galatians 6:7), for we become a hindrance to our own souls, if we allow fleshly desires dictate the direction of our lives or our commitment to God (1 Peter 2:11). (WRONG CATEGORY)

The third set of believers are those who seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, because that is the true definition of living. They seek the Kingdom of God to please and do the biddings of the Master. They are not moved by the additions from the Kingdom, because their eyes are affixed on their Father in Heaven. These are the set of believers that enjoy the blessings of the His Kingdom, because God is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). (RIGHT CATEGORY)

Please kindly check above to identify your category, and please make adjustments immediately if you are not in the third category.

God bless you.
