(Mark 11: 25-26) And when ye stand praying, forgive if ye have ought against any: that your father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses but if ye do not forgive, neither will your father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
The most decision in the journey of Christianity is the decision to forgive whoever offends you irrespective of what area of life. Unforgiveness is the nourishment of bitterness, anger and resentment in the heart against fellow human being as a result of jealousy, envy or sudden withdrawal from familiar services which could be claimed as rights and privileges.
Bitterness, wrath and anger are among those things that can grieve the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and block the blessings of God. It affects our relationship with God and blocks answers to our prayers. Unforgiveness sets both parties in perpetual prison. It leaves the victim in a miserable condition devoid of joy or excitement because the Holy Spirit who is the fountain of joy is cut off like an electric switch. Unforgiven spirit lacks power, therefore, the victim is vulnerable to afflictions, sickness and oppression of the enemy.
What to know about unforgiveness:
Unforgiveness is a spirit that puts one in captivity. Once you decide to forgive, you are setting the prisoner free and to discover or realize later that the prisoner is ourselves because both victims were in prison.
Forgiveness does not change the past but it gives opportunity to enlarge the future. The experiences will remain but the future gives more room for improvement for both patties.
He who can forgive breaks the bridge over which he himself must surely offend somebody else or even God and will ask for forgiveness.
Forgiveness requires courage to dare to do the right thing than to fear to do wrong things in life. One thing is clear, if you continue to show love even the worst enemy would one day change his mind about you.
Child of God, as the year is coming to an end, do not bottle anybody in your heart, decide strongly to forgive and forget irrespective of the person, time and the magnitude of the offence so that God can release your blessings.

Prayer: My Father, I receive grace to work in love and forgiveness in Jesus name, Amen.
