10 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE ORDAINING ANYONE INTO A LEADERSHIP POSITION IN THE CHURCH (Part 2) – Bishop Irabor Wisdom

Yesterday, we established the first point (PART 1) to consider as anyone with a good testimony within the house and before the public.

We are not looking at the public for endorsement, but as light of the world, we must be an example to the world.
Today, we shall be looking at the second point.

(2) One that has company with you and the Ministry for a long time despite your many trials and challenges.
Acts 1 : 20- 22.

There are men functioning in the class of Ministers already.
They have been there for a long time.
They have been tested with the process of time.

They are not ‘eat and run’ Sons
They are not ‘come and go’ Sons.
Not fair-weather Members. They have survived your worst moments with you. When others left, they stayed.
They are not following you in your comfort moment only. They are there in your challenging moment.
They have faced your Bear and Lion, so they can be anointed to face your Goliath with you.

He who has not survived your Bear and Lion with you, will disappear when your Goliath appears.
A man that has consistently followed for Ten Years, should be considered above a man who has just been around for One Year.

Never forget, time reveals everything that appears mysterious.

TO BE CONTINUED.
