What I’m about to share with you has bothered me greatly in recent times. I have always prayed for the Church to maintain focus. Today, I am compelled by the Spirit to give a statement. This is addressed to the church because that’s certainly my jurisdiction.
Do you want to hear the truth?
Nothing but the truth?!
Many pay deaf ears to truth because greed has beclouded their minds to truth. I have listened to muddled view points of respected persons and I was flabbergasted, bewildered and amused.
Do we still love Jesus?
Have we made our stomach our god?
Politicking is the process of making decisions that affect the members of a particular group of persons who believe in a common thing. The process is normally organized through distribution of power and resources within some specific groups of persons normally done through hierarchical orders. A believer does not believe in politicking, but fairness.
Even the blind can see if he doesn’t listen to a cajoling statement or have not been subjected to the numbness of taking bribe.
Pastors should focus on preaching the gospel of Christ and stop getting involved on matters that doesn’t directly concern the church. Like Jesus, our kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36), neither is the kingdom of God meat and drink (Romans 14:17). We must learn from our Master and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and the disciples after us, who followed rightly.
Poke nosing in affairs as these, would only confuse the babes in Christ and make room for unbelievers to make mockery of the church. The church that Jesus birthed in His blood is plausible and trustworthy; don’t soil its credibility with your insatiable appetite, sponsored by greed.
Don’t impose your personal interests on your members.
They add misery to many lives by corrupting their minds and cheating them of the truth. They equate the worship of God with making great sums of money.
1 Timothy 6:5 TPT
They must be silenced because they are disrupting entire families with their corrupt teachings, all for their dishonest greed.
Titus 1:11 TPT
Those ministers who are actively pioneering their clamour for members or the entire body of Christ to take sides with certain politicians for financial gains, have truly lost their path and are suddenly oblivious of their calling – they serve the spirit of mammon, unbeknownst to them (See 1 Corinthians 2:4-5; 1 John 2:15-17).
They are only out for themselves, ready to exploit you for their own gain through their cunning arguments. Their condemnation has been a long time coming. But their destruction does not slumber or sit idly by, for it is sure to come.
2 Peter 2:3 TPT
A house divided against itself can’t stand. The church being divided against herself is a sign of confusion from some who are not listening to the Spirit of God, but whose sense of discernment and judgment have been clouded by the clutters of materialism.
God’s Sincere Opinion:
for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
1 Timothy 2:2 NIV
Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.
1 Timothy 2:2 NLT
As a citizen of the State, I ask that you vote as prompted by an action of the Spirit in you or by reason of a Spirit-trained conscience. Do not vote because of promises or cajoling, even if it comes from a supposed father of faith!
Beyond doubts, the consciences of many have been bought by not just peanuts, but mere word of mouth and they don’t mind trading what’s best for what their sensual reasonings in greed can fathom. They may be wolves in sheep clothing – beware!
