The greatest motive should be the LOVE of GOD in your heart – Pst. Ndi Njey

Exactly 15 years ago I began Pastoring a Christ Embassy church in Mabanda Bonaberi.
Then I had just 2 members.

It was challenging then as I was doing my final year at the university.
I had personal dreams and ambitions coupled with my parents expectations ,
But I decided to give my full attention to preaching the gospel.

It wasn’t funny at all as many mocked at me, I could see the expression of failure and frustration on faces of those around me but non of this things moved me because my conviction were beyond physical realities .

To cut the story short , today we have over 15 Christ Embassy churches in Bonaberi and still counting.

There has been an evidence of consistent and progressive growth.

Three things kept me on irrespective of oppositions and challenged.

The WHAT which defined my purpose, what God expects from me.

The HOW which gives me a plan, how do I go about it. God’s pattern.

The WHY which defines my motives, why I do what I do, my fame or His glory.

You can know the WHAT but go about it the wrong way and you’re destroyed. God killed uzza
1Ch 13:9 — 1Ch 13:10
(Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him,)

You can know the WHAT and HOW but with wrong motives, it spoils it all.
King Amaziah
2 Chronicles 25:2
And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a perfect heart.

Your motive will push you or pull you.
Wrong motives never resist in times of the storms of life. “evil days”

The greatest motive should be the LOVE of GOD in your heart .
Paul 2 Corinthians 5:14
(For the love of Christ constraineth us)
My thoughts, actions ,and decision are guided by the love of Christ.

With this , your progress will be evident.
