“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an EXAMPLE of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” (1 Timothy 4:12)
The power of godly example cannot be overemphasised, especially in the marriage institution.
More than quoting of the Bible verses to justify your action, your godly example will go a long way to convince your spouse that you are living according to the Bible.
Forcing submission on your spouse won’t yield the desired result. In fact, it will yield hypocrisy or abuse. Anything done without willingness isn’t love.
Love is kind, peaceful, not boastful, not selfish, not fierce, sincere etc.
When true love is present, submission, respect, support, BDR assignment and other things will flow naturally.
Dear husband/wife, GODLY ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.
Communicate through your godly actions and things will change for the better in your home.
Shalom.
