STEPS TO ANSWERED PRAYER (2) ~Rev Joshua Talena

(Matthew 7:7) Ask, and it shall be given you, seek, and ye shall find, knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

In continuation of what I began sharing yesterday, make every prayer concerning your need a statement of faith and praise. Not a statement of unbelief. It would be better to pray for two or three minutes and know what you are praying about than to pray aimlessly for two or three hours. The length of the prayer is not as important as the content and quality of the prayer. Don’t come to God babbling or repeating words. Pour out your mind and be specific.

Steps to answered prayers (continuation):
5: Refuse To Doubt. James 4:7: Eradicate every image, suggestion, feeling, or thought that does not contribute to your faith. Concentrate on things that contribute to your confession for what you need from God. Our thoughts are governed by observation, association, and teachings. You must guard against every evil thought and doubt that comes into your mind. We must stay away from all places and things that do not support your confession Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, Whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are good report ; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ”

6: Meditate on the Promises. (Proverbs 4:20-22): Study and meditate on God’s Word. If you don’t stand by the Word, God can’t stand by you, even though He wants to. The only way God works is through His Word. He has magnified His Word above his Name! If you stand by the Word, God will stand by you.

7: Give God the Praise (Philippians 5:6): The final step to answered prayer is to lift your heart to God constantly in gratitude and increasing praise for what He has done and what He is doing for you. It is your family right -your redemption right -to have what God has promised. It is yours, and it will come. Accept it, and it will become a reality.

Meditation: Don’t come to God babbling or repeating words. Pour out your mind and be specific.
