RELEASE YOUR POTENTIAL AND RESOURCES ~Pst Joshua Talena

(1 Timothy 6:17) Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything

Provisions are given for the fulfillment of vision. Every builder, before he starts a project, estimates what materials he will need to complete the job and determine what resources are available to him. God functions in a similar manner. As He forms and fashions each one of us for a specific purpose, He also provides the necessary resources to accomplish His plans.Apostle Paul knew that God had given him certain potentials and resources to help him fulfill his purpose. These resources and potentials include tent-making skills, Roman citizenship, Jewish education and upbringing, legal profession, writing skills and abilities, etc. Paul was careful, however, to view these potentials and resources only as tools given by God to accomplish His plans.

Child of God, God has given you potentials and resources (it could be money, beauty, intellectual prowess, etc.) What are you doing with them? The proper use of these potentials and resources will lead to your next level. The effective use of your resources and potentials is the key to achieving your purpose in life.

The reason why God gave you that knowledge, money, skills and know-how is to use it to advance His work. The proper use of these potentials and resources will lead to your next level. The reason why He gave you that money is for the advancement of His kingdom. You are educated; you have skills; you have resources. All these were made possible because God wants to use them. Therefore, release your potential and resources for the work of God.
