”For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” ~JEREMIAH 29:11 (KJV).
The promises of God for our lives as believers are fixed, unshaken, and to our favour, but our choices determines if these promises will be actualized in our lives.
In the book of Deut 30:15, God gave man the opportunity and liberty to express his power of choice, and what he decides to choose determines a set of possible outcomes (Good or Bad/ Life or Death).
At the beginning of the year as always, you would probably come across several prophecies, some might be pleasant, while others might not, but what is of essence, is that God has given us the liberty of choice. What we choose, determines the possible outcomes.
However, our choices must be made in line with the will of God, and any choice, prophecy or proclamation that falls short from the will of God for our lives, must be rejected and discarded as a matter of urgency.
Moreover, if we are to make the right choices in the year 2020, how then do we choose?
1. OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD
Obedience to the word of God is making conscious choices through the grace of God to live according to tenents and precepts of the word of God. It is making the word of God the standard for our daily living.
In the book of Deut. 30:16, we can see very clearly that a life of blessings and multiplication is tied to the obedience of the word of God, hence in the year 2020, obedience to the word of God should be our priority, if we are are to have positive outcomes.
2. SPEAKING THE WORD OF GOD
“It is the spirit that quikeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” ~JOHN 6:63 (KJV).
The word of God is spirit and life, this means that when we speak the word of God, we operate in the spirit realm to bring life to any given situation. For us as believers to dominate in the year 2020, we need to constantly implement this divine principle in our lives, for the spiritual controls the physical. We must learn how to make positive choices by rejecting any form of depression, discouragement, but by speaking life into situations and creating the positive outcomes we would like manifesting in our lives through speaking of the word of God.
“If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” ~ MARK 9:23 (KJV).
The word of God without faith, is of no effect, and produces a negative outcome, hence faith is a necessity to call into being those things which are not through the name of Jesus Christ.
In the year 2020, our belief system must change as a matter of urgency, if we truly want to see a year of our dreams.
Jesus Christ told the father of the possessed child in the book of Mark 9:23, that all things are possible to them that believe. Jesus Christ emphasized the word believe, because our belief system has the capacity to produce results, whether positive or negative. If from the beginning of the year, you believe that the year will be bad, possibly because it’s a leap year like many do, it will indeed be bad. God forbid! This is because our belief system has a major role in defining our path, whether we will be successful or not. It is creative in nature, hence be careful what you believe this year.
The word of God should be our standard and the Holy Spirit should be our guide, hence we are expected to create possibilities through faith.
“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive” ~MATHEW 21:22 (KJV).
For our prayer life to be effective this year and produce the much desired results, our belief system must be right with God. Obviously there might be trying times during the year, even events that might test our Faith’s as believers, but our approach to such situations determines the outcome.
Prayer with the combination of Faith, is a weapon that can bring down any strong hold, hence use it without apology to create possibilities and to keep any satanic opposition under subjection.
The Messenger wishes you a happy and prosperous New Year.
God bless you
