6 Reasons why God is still interested in sinners ~Awe Hilary

God is interested in the wellbeing of sinners, but concerned about their state (sin), and that is why He earnestly desires daily to redirect their path, by showing them the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.

The discovery of the WAY (JESUS CHRIST), leads to the TRUTH (THE WORD – JESUS CHRIST), which guarantees LIFE.

When the WAY is not discovered, access to the TRUTH is hindered, hence eternity cannot be guaranteed.

Moreover, God is committed in making sure that no one is left behind or condemned in hell, thus below are six reasons why God is more interested in saving sinners than condemning them.

”God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands” -ACTS 17:24 (KJV).

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, and every other thing that exists in these two (2) realms. There is indeed nothing that was created that cannot be attributed to the craftsmanship of God, including humans.

Humans are special creatures, because they were the only ones recorded in the scriptures to be created in the image of God.

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” -Genesis 1:27 (KJV).

This means that man was created in the resemblance of God, with the purpose of reflecting His attributes, in terms of His purpose, plan, promises, character, thoughts, and all actions that depict His nature.

However, through one man, sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because all sinned – Romans 5:12

Sin separated man from God, and the implication of this, resulted to man reflecting an image that was not of God, which neither revealed His purpose, plan or promises for him. Moreover, for this reason, many are lost today, separated from their father, and ignorant of the provisions that God made to undo the power or effect of sin over their life, and to reconcile them back to Himself.

By virtue of creation and love, God is the father of all, but by virtue of our obedience to Him, by reflecting His image in our lives daily, we can lay claim to His fatherhood over our lives.

Therefore the provision of God’s fatherhood by virtue of love is extended to all, but the decision of making God our father is based on our acceptance of the provision made by Him in reconciling us back to Himself, and living according to His precepts.

As a parent, how would you feel if one of your children were to be declared missing? What would be your reaction? Would you just go about your normal activities, without making attempts to save the child? The answer is No. This is how it is with God, as He seeks to rescue His lost children from the grip of sin, and to reconcile them back to Himself.

“And he spake this parable unto them saying, what man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he loose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?” – Luke 15:3-4(KJV).

Our master, Jesus Christ, gave three parables in the book of Luke 15, namely, the parable of the lost sheep, parable of the lost coin, and the parable of the lost son, to depict the value God places on sinners, the urgency required to rescue them from the nature of sin, and the joy that accompanies the rescue or salvation of a sinner.

However, for this reason, God gave His only begotten, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life (JOHN 3:16).

Sin brings upon a man the yoke of slavery unto death. It denies him the position and priviledges of Sonship, because whoever comitteth sin, is a servant of sin (JOHN 8:34). However a servant abideth not in the house forever, but a son abideth forever (JOHN 8:35).

God wants sinners to be free to enable them to exercise and maximize their potential through Him. This he does by presenting the TRUTH to them. Jesus Christ is the truth, and the Holy Bible tells us that ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free, and that whoever the son makes free, shall indeed be free ( JOHN 8:36).

The knowledge and acceptance of Jesus Christ breaks the yoke of servanthood unto death caused by sin, hence given us the opportunity to become children of God and coheirs of the kingdom of God, with Jesus Christ (ROMANS 8:17).

”To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and Majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever” ~ JUDE 1:25 (KJV).

A man who is under the bondage of sin, cannot have dominion or authority over sin. For sinners to be empowered to exercise dominion and authority over sin and in every sphere of life, they must first receive freedom which comes only from Jesus Christ.

To exercise dominion and authority, is to come in contact with the TRUTH (JESUS CHRIST), and this contact produces a new creature that can no longer be held under the subjection of sin, hence dominion and authority is established.

For you to exercise dominion, you must be in Jesus Christ, because, it is He working in us, that gives us the will and power to do what pleases Him (PHILIPPIANS 2:13).

Every creature created by God, was created for a purpose, without the exclusion of man. The fulfilment of purpose, is the manifestation of God’s plan for a life.

Sin makes a man to live outside the purpose of God, hence God’s plan cannot be easily realized in a life of sin.

God wants sinners to live in His purpose, and for them to realize that purpose, they must as a matter of urgency come in contact with the TRUTH (JESUS CHRIST), because Jesus Christ is the way that leads to the purpose of God for man.

The purpose of God for a life, is imbedded in the WAY, and until you find the TRUTH, you cannot be ushered into the WAY, which is the pathway of God’s purpose, which guarantees and leads to eternal life.

”But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” ~ 1 PETER 2:9 (KJV).

A sinner has no Glory, because he/she is clothed with the garment of bondage (sin), and servanthood unto death, because sin is living contrary to the truth which guarantees freedom.

The plan and purpose of God for all who are called according to His purpose, is to show forth His Glory by revealing His image. When the purpose of God in a life is accomplished, destiny is established.

For us to experience and proclaim His excellence, we must take heed to His call, because by so doing, we are yielding to His purpose, and when we yield to His purpose, His Glory in us can never be hidden.

However, as a matter of urgency, I would like you to know, that God is interested in your life, no matter the level of sin that you may have found yourself in. He is calling you today, because He wants to save you, by revealing the TRUTH to you, that will lead you through the WAY of God’s purpose for your life, hence at the end, life is guaranteed.

Give your life to Jesus Christ today, because the next second might be too late.

God bless you.
