GRACE FOR IMPACT (1) ~ Pst. Joshua Talena

(Romans 5: 17) For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one, much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

Grace is the key for impact. Grace is God’s willingness to get involved despite a man’s inadequacy. When I talk about grace for impact, I am referring to that divine enablement that helps a man to navigate through life without sinking. I mean that divine capacity that incapacitates all your challenges and spurs you to advance in spite of every seemingly adverse situation of your life. It is that inner voice that pushes you on to a point of no return. Grace for impact is that spiritual potency and dynamism that helps you to stand and make your voice heard and revered by the camp of enemies.

Paul got to that point in his walk with the Lord. Being afflicted, he cried out to God thrice for respite. The answer he got from the Lord was – “My grace is sufficient for thee for my strength is made perfect in weakness” 2 Corinthians 12:9a. When grace is made sufficient, life is made efficient. Grace for impact is that master key handed over to you in the form of Rhema that dissolves difficult equations and delivers answers into your hand.

Child of God! The secret of Paul’s exploit was grace, the zeal of his accomplishment was grace, the fire of his unequalled tenacity was grace, the power of his persuasive utterances was grace, the fierceness of his faith was grace, the splendor of his lifestyle was grace and the forcefulness of Word delivery by Paul was grace. You too can make greater impact in your generation by Grace!

Meditation: Grace for impact is God’s response to His child at the darkest and most confused moment of life.

RM: Takeover DBR: James 5

Prayer: Oh Lord help me, I cannot help myself, I need sufficient grace to impact my generation and to leave a positive legacy in Jesus name.
